Family Road Trip

Saturday morning Doug and I decided that we should all make the trip to Ann Arbor Michigan. Doug had a ticket to the Michigan Notre Dame game and was planning on driving up and back by himself, but we were afraid that he would get to tired to drive back alone. So at 6:30 Saturday morning we decided we would all make the trip, and that we needed to leave by 8:00. We started getting ready and everyone was dressed in their Michigan garb. I found a petting farm nearby and was going to spend the day between there and the mall with the kids. So we all loaded up and left for our long trip. The kids did pretty well and Natalie loved the farm. And well if you didn't hear Michigan won with a late touch down to take the game 38, 34. The drive home got pretty late, we didn't get home until 1 am (it was a good thing we all made the trip together). Doug says it was all worth it, it was one of the best games he has ever seen.

Family photo before we left.

Daddy with his two little wolverines.

Natalie driving the tractor at the farm. We only had her camera, daddy had the other at the game and her camera stopped working. She had a great day riding ponies, feeding the animals, and going on a hayride.

When we got back to the mall to wait for daddy Natalie got to jump on the Bungy Jump.
She was so excited and jumped really high.

Oh, and Doug had a good time at the game too, did we mention they won!!

I am glad we decided to go it was a fun day.

The kids are a little tired today, but it was all worth it.

  1. Next time you decide to make a trip to Ann Arbor, call us. My brother lives there! We found a children's museum in the downtown area that is reciprical with our museum...I think it's $8ish to pay to get in. But it was fun. I know there is another one, but we didn't go to it yet.
